I suspect bad weather might be responsible... heavy rain and cloudy sky usually scrambles the signal, but anyway if you could check it, I appreciate.

Receiver: Digitall World (or Mirage, depending on the country you buy)
Model: SCI-5110e

I've bought from TotalSat, the Aljazeera Sports CI Pack (Card + Viacess Cam)

Not quite sure about the first use date, think it was around first week of August (2009).

Now, should I post here, publicly, the card serial n.º and/or the order n.º?

What size of dish are you using? Plus you are right in saying that some receivers will display "This service is currently scrambled" message when bad weather corrupts the received signal, but all 8 channes (Well 10 now, because they have added +9 & +10) should be affected not just 1 & 2 well in saying this I am presume that you are using Hotbird??.

I think this is more likely a Box, CAM or Card problem and not a signal issue
The only way to know is to test the card and cam in a different box and on a different dish setup
Please call our office on 02030800726, have your order number to hand, card number and make sure you are near the box we will try to sort sort this over the phone.

Or you can send us the card and CAM back for testing instore, include order number and your return address.

Yes, you're right.
Had the chance to test on a different box and the problem persists. What's surprising is that when I remove the cam, the signal of both sats I caught(hotbird n'astra1) come to normal. If I place it, both are lost. Can't get any channel, coded or not.

Guess the only way is to send you the pack, right?

Hello JFrancis

we got your Al-jazeera sport CI pack today, and we tested it on a globalstar receiver, and it is working fine.
we kept it in the receiver working from the morning untill now and still working fine.
your CI pack will be sent back to you.
