Just to clarify a few points regarding Al Jazeera Sport;
AL JAZEERA SPORT is a provider and they like all other Pay-TV sharks will always do what they can to make as much money from subscribers, including launching a new card every now and then and coming up with the most unreliable paid upgrades.
TotalSat is a private company and not associated in any way with Al Jazeera we have nothing to do with the above, we sold card when they were available for the channels that were available at that time, now -new card in the market, so we offer them as usual
However the Viaccess Hotbird cards issue is not TotalSat's responsibility in anyway, we will offer upgrades when we think the service is reliable and stable -but at present that is not the case, it seems Al Jazeera is more focused on selling new cards and more on Nilesat viewers than Hotbird.
Al Jazeera Sport is doing what they can to prevent European viewers upgrading and that is due to broadcast rights disputes, some lazy folks there on big chairs and some cheap back-end technical service that was not intended for complicated service like upgrading existing cards.
Anyway, all online upgrade services in all languages are not reliable until now and most people that have paid to Upgrade on Hotbird are still waiting until now 2 and 3 weeks for cards to be upgraded
Also some of them are scams and they are not going to upgrade your cards anyway.
So that is why the upgrade service for Viaccess / Hotbird Al Jazeera cards is still not running at TotalSat, we will only start processing those cards once we are satisfied that Al Jazeera is taking the Hotbird and European viewers more seriously and upgrade cards within 24 hours max.
Now we see a great channel that was once loved by everyone join the Pay-TV Shark bay of C+ and Sky and bully viewers with new cards every year, and the most ridiculous upgrade service we have seen so far
But what we find that is pathetic from them, is that more people from Europe subscribe to Al Jazeera than the target zone they are after, so they make most of the money from Europe and treat us like Pirates.

Maybe Zil or anyone connected to Al Jazeera can comment on this and convince unsatisfied viewers that we are wrong
