Al Jazeera Sports Question

Hi there,

I have just found this forum after reading about several sports cards/packages on ebay, so i am a total newbie so forgive me if these questions have already been asked on here before:

I live in the UK and am trying to get a box and card that will enable me to watch UK football (3pm kickoff's) and US Sports as well - and it has to be with English comentating.

I have been told that Al Jazeera Sports is good, butI would appreciate it if someone could list the various things I will need to get what I am looking for...

At the moment I just have UK Sky with a Sky Mini-dish.

I've read various postings on here about pointing the dish elsewhere etc (Hotbird i think it was for Al Jazeera Sports), but is it the box that you get to point to somewhere else?

I don't want to have to keep re-pointing my dish everytime i switch between watching the foreign box and my normal Sky TV because that would just be a total pain - so i was hoping that my Sky box would point to normal sky and the foreign box would point it to where it needs to be to receive the sports I want. Or can this not happen?

I realise I sound totally amateur, but that's because I am any help would be greatly appreciate.

I have DigitalB Gold HD package with Kaon STB reciever, it has a spare viewing slot.

Will Al Jazeera sports card work on same box with the right sat installation?

Ok - so Al Jazeera doesn't show English Premiership games - can anyone help me out then with what does? I am looking for English Premiership and US Sports in English commentating - does any card anywhere do this?

That spare slot is Conax - Al Jazeera Sport uses Viaccess or Irdeto
