ART Sport 5 & 6 are joining the Hotbird Pack from 18th Feb 2006
seems they are going to be listed on the same freq

We want 5 and 6 to show more premiership games, do you thing ART will will have the right for the premiership next season? i hear SKY is preparing a big sum for exlusivity

I am also concerned that next season Sky will try to nullify all competition especially ART. Does anybody have any information about this? Thanks

It is not going to happen because ART is run from mid-east and dedicated for the Arab viewer and Sky has no power out of the UK not even in Europe,
Think TPS Foot, DigiAlb, Deporte+, C+ Rood, they all have the rights to for premiership regardless of Sky position. The only reason ART is more popular and contraversial is because they show more games than Sky itself, all games in English commentry and it's a much cheaper deal.

So; if anything is going to happen for next season, i imagine there will be some new restrictions on cards to prevent them being sold in the UK

This is to confirm that ART Sport 5 & 6 are now on Hotbird, they have replaced the Worldcup channels.

Now you have 6 Premiership dedicated channels - so you never miss a game with more than 350 games a season shown live and the rest near live
