ICECRYPT S3000 Firmware - No Sound on BIS HD channels Fix

BIS TV - No Audio on HD Channels fix for ICECRYPT 3000 ONLY

If you are using BIS TV Card with an ICECRYPT 3000 Box and you have no Sound on France2 HD and Arte HD, download this firmware and update your box.

Compatible ONLY with ICECRYPT S3000HDCCI


Step by step instructions, how to update/upgrade:

STEP A:

Make sure you have a USB stick (recommeded) to use with this procedure Or an external USB hard drive.


STEP B:

1. Download the new Firmware zip file attached to this post.
2. Unzip the file on your PC, then copy the unzipped file to the USB stick or External USB drive
3. Insert the USB Stick at the front USB port of your ICECRYPT box.

STEP C:

1. Press MENU button on Remote control
2. Go DOWN to TOOLS, press OK
3. Go to Upgrade by USB press OK
4. Make sure Upgrade mode selected is: Allcode+bootloader
5. Make sure upgrade files is showing: ICECRYPT_S3000HD_02
   
6. Go down to Start and press OK
   
7. Wait until progress bar shows 100%, the box will then reboot

STEP D:

This firmware update will reset the box, so a retune will be required
To retune your box for the BIS channels, follow these steps;

1. Press MENU (default start screen) go down to Installation (2nd down)
2. Go right, then down to Satellite List, press OK
3. Go down to 3rd Satellite HOTBIRD, press OK
4. Press EXIT one time to go back to previous menu (Installation)
5. Go down to TP list, press OK
6. On TP List, go down to frequency 11681, Press OK then OK again to confirm
7. On Search end message, press OK
8. Repeat underlined step 6 with frequency; 12149 - 12245 - 12692

To tune the non BIS, other Free to air channels on Hotbird;

1. Press EXIT one time to leave the TP List Menu
2. Back to Installation menu, go down to; Single Satellite Search
3. Go down to FTA only and change it with left volume button to YES
4. Go down to Search and press OK

DO NOT USE this procedure with any other box, Only use with the box listed above.
