Firmware update: GlobalStar 7100 / 7500 Jazeera Sport3 - No Video fix

JSC SP +3 No Video fix for GlobalStar 7100 / 7500 ONLY

When using Al Jazeera Sport Card on Multi-Crypt boxes, you probably have a problem with JSC SP +3

This is a new firmware update to fix the problem with GlobalStar boxes listed below ONLY:

GLOBALSTAR 7100 / 7100USB
GLOBALSTAR 7500 / 7500USB

Step by step instructions, how to update/upgrade GlobalStarfirmware:

STEP A:

Make sure you have a USB stick (recommeded) to use with this procedure Or an external hard drive (if you use an external HDD)

STEP B:

Download the new Firmware zip file attached to this post.
Unzip the file on your PC, then copy the unzipped file to the USB stick or External drive
Insert the USB Stick at the back of your GlobalSar box.

STEP C:

Press MENU button on Remote control of your GLOBALSTAR
Go to USB CONTROL press OK, then OK again on USB MENU
Look for the file named: GS7000-7500-JSC-SP3.bin
Pressing OK will select that file
You get a message on screen: (Do you want to update software/database?) select YES
Wait through the: Updating data message, do not reboot at this stage
Now say Yes to reboot the box for changes to take effect

STEP D:

Remove the card for 10 seconds then reinsert again
It should work now.
