Hi

I'm currently a UK based Virgin cable tv subscriber, but will soon be moving to a non-cable area and would like some advice.

I'm looking for a suitable set top box to: receive Freeview terrestrial television, possibly with top up channels; get satellite reception (but do not want to pay any sort of subscription to SKY as I would like to see what is available to the world, rather than what one company wishes to serve up); include a PVR; and I do not wish to scrap perfectly serviceable televisions just to receive some extra channels. I'll replace them when they stop working. Not much to ask here.

It seems that the Topfield TF5400PVR fits the bill, but I cannot find any information on how reliable it is, easy to use, and also would like to know whether it will be able to pick up non-SKY satellite broadcasts. Also, can it send the signal to more than one television at a time?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
