no show on screen

jUst bought the humax receiver with tps card. Running through an avr amp.
i have my dish aligned with hotbird. for some reason the receiver tuned to arabsat . i deleted all settings and asked for default settings. Now nothing appears on the screen except when booting up "loading f6.0r..and loading games".then screen goes blank and channel one just shows on the receiver.

can anybody help?

you have to change the antenna settings, under service searching menu.
you keep it on antenna 1 then under you go left or right to change the satellite name from the drop-down list to Hotbird.
then exit thae Antenna setting menu, go to Automatic search and hit OK
