Break-up in picture/no signal issue for all Bis channels on 11681H

Since the introduction of TF1 HD earlier this month, for all BIS channels on 11681 H I have been having reception problems, ranging from break-up in picture to no signal at all. I haven't had any problems previously with the reception of any BIS channels. Curiously on 12692 H, I have no problems with any of the BIS channels. In fact, everything works perfectly for both Hotbird and Astra, except for the transponder in question.

My set-up is as follows:

Technomate 5402HD + Bis card inserted in a Viaccess SMIT module which I purchased from you.

80cm dish with Astra/Hotbird dual LNB

Could the problem possibly lie with the LNB which i have had now for a fair few years? It appears a stronger signal is now required for 11681H since the introduction of TF1 HD.

Any advice would be much appreciated for this peculiar issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am sure Totalsat will try to help you the best they can, but I can say that many have reported the same issues on that particular transponder.

A misalignment of the dish have been pointed out; dish/lnb installation has to be "perfect", just a small realignment seems to solve the problem; some in Greece, Israel... who had no problem until introduction of mpeg4 then tf1hd had to change their dish for bigger...old lnb for a newer one (0.1db) can certainly help as well .

Have a tm5402, bis card in tm card slot(have the viaccess neotion for future use) +80cm motorized dish, 0.1lnb in west midlands and have no problem on that transponder.
