Angry Tnt program listings on humax 5000

Hi. Just bought a humax 5000 pvr and i want to be able to record programs which start later in the day or even days in front. The problem i have is that the program listings is only showing whats on for the next hr or so and when i go further forward in time its just blank empy information. It dosnt seem to be downloAding what it needs to. CAn anyone be of any help please. Jon d

This issue has been discussed few times before, the issue is with EPG - box manufacturers like Humax promote ~EPG; now, next, tomorrow...
But unfortunately channels and broadcasters must provide the information for the box to display and they simply still Don't bother.

Thumbs up TNTSAT TV guide, listing solution

(TNTSAT PVR HUMAX 5000) You can still record ahead of time; just go into the guide, select the channel you want to record from, move to the right and press the record button. This brings up a dialogue box into which you type the date and start/end times.

If you don't know, there are online TV guides, and there are some free mobile apps too e.g. Télé 7 on iPhone and Android.

If you prefer a proper paper TV magazine, I recently subscribed to Télé 7 Jours via newsstand.co.uk which is better for browsing in my view, especially if you're not that familiar with the channels to know where to look for stuff you might like.
