If you are ordering TPS or CANAL card or if you currently own one. Please read carefully (including the notes at the bottom):

Generally viewing cards are sold under contract between you and the respective pay TV provider– we Totalsat act as your agent to process the contract and take care of all paperwork and also manage all communication with the provider.
The viewing cards are sold as 12 or 6 months prepaid subscription contracts and some cards are no refundable once opened and used.

Please note that, we do not have any control over pay TV service interruptions but we are here to help and activate your card when down

Activating a new TPS and CANAL cards, please read carefully:

When you receive a TPS viewing card from us and after inserting it into you receiver, it will work for 7 days. Within that period you must email us back the card number or send it through the website to unable us to process your contract.
For Canal cards you have to email the card number asap because you will not have the 7days offered by TPS
If we do not receive your card number the card will stop working 7 days after first use for TPS (for Canal it would not work unless you email the card number from the start).

TO AVOID SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS PLEASE DO NOT SWITCH OFF THE RECEIVER

Re-activating TPS and CANAL cards, please read carefully:

With TPS and CANAL cards, you may experience occasional service interruption. Especially when they change encryption every 6 weeks or so
This is normal for outside of France subscribers, in this case try the steps below to reactivate.

:: Reactivating the card STEP 1

1. Switch off the receiver
2. Remove the card
3. Unplug from the main
4. Wait for 1 minute then plug it back again in the main
5. Reinsert the card.
6. Switch on and leave on one paid channel for 30 minutes No zapping.

If still not working, do the step 2 below:

:: Reactivating the card STEP 2:

Send us you card number and contract name by email to sales@totalsat.co.uk or use our online reactivation service and we will reactivate the card for you within 2 hours of receiving you request. Bearing in mind the reactivation service working hours below:

TPS: Tue to Sat 10am to 3pm
CANAL CARDS: Mon to Sun 10am to 6pm

.................................................. ...............................................

I have an official TPS card which has been out of it's official box for about 5 months. The box is not available to me. The card is valid until April 2007. I've had it in a Technomate (not patched-latest official stb) TM1500CI+ all day on TF1- hotbird but no activation so far.....
Is this box compatible with the new TPS encription updates ????
If NOT how do I find the "online activation service" ???
OR- how can I activate the card by any other means ???

TPS card will never work stable in a Technomate box, becuase the Tehcnomate does not use an official Viaccess reader in thier boxes.
Solution in you case: get a Viaccess2 CAM and the card will reactivate.
If not activated, you may need to contact TPS for reactivation

Only on image/reader versions CC.Cam 1.3.1 and above
also on image NewCamd
If you dont know these or how to get a new image for your card reader, go to dreambox forums (very tricky procedure)
