hi, do I need a HD LNB to receive HD channels on the HD TNT receiver?

not necessarily, you can still get HD from a normal even 5 years old LNB, but 0.1dB HD LNB are latest in the market and offer highest noise reduction and better quality picture -
This will only be noticable with weak channels signal, wind, bad weather... All these factors contribute to lower signal quality this will prevents optimum HD and even digital picture will crack -
So, the lower the noice reduction factor (0.1dB) means more powerful LNB, this means better signal quality...
