French language subtitles

French language subtitles - France 3 says that subtitles are available via teletext however I cannot get teletext when receiving via the satellite dish. I want the subtitles in french to help my understanding of the spoken french. Any ideas? Richard.

My satellite receiver is a "Schwaiger Digital Stereo Satellite Receiver, SSR 2000, DV3".
The dish is 70cm, 2DB Low Loss CNB.
I receive France 2, 3 and 5 plus ARTE as Free to Air from 5.0W Atlantic Bird 3. Both picture (colour) and sound are 100%.
My TV is a (new) Samsong 932 MW

To clarify what I am looking to do: I want to have on my TV screen the subtitles for french viewers with impaired hearing. In programme listings these are denoted with an ear icon. France 3 show these on Teletext side 888.
