Thinking of getting the French Free channels, some questions

Hello there,

As the title indicates, I'm thinking of getting the free french tv channels(digital), but I have a few questions:
1. Have there been any updates on whether TF1 will be joining the package of free digital channels?
2. Is there an option of getting both the english and french freeview channels on one single and same dish/set top box?
3. Does the electron cr1900 have a card slot? Can I use it to upgrade to pay channels later and if so, which ones?

-We have no idea when TF1 will be free on Digital.
-There's no way you can watch English and French free channels on the same dish cause they're on different satellites, but you can watch them on the same box if you fit 2 small dishes.
-Yes the Electron CR1900 has a viacess1 card slot, but it doesn't work with TPS cards (TPS needs Viaccess2 encryption)

Hello,
I would like to receive TF1 but I am unsure about the BIS card, I have a Manhatten Plaza XTM receiver , I cannot find much out about the card slots it has. The vendor said it would take irdeto, viaccess and conax cards.

Has anyone tried the BIS card in this receiver with success? I currently receive the free channels on 5 deg west , Hotbird at 13 and Astra 1 at 19 deg East

You can order try the card in your box, you can always return it for a refund or upgrade the box if not compatible
